Most of my company is running Outlook 2002 but there are a few with Outlook
2003. When a user with 2003 saves an email to a folder outside of Outlook
the 2002 users get an error message when they try to open it explaining that
Outlook 2003 or later is required to open it. However, when the 2002 users
email the 2003 message in the folder to themselves they can open the
attached 2003 message with no errors. Any ideas on how the Outlook 2002
users can open the outlook 2003 email message without emailing to themselves
or why it's doing this at all?
