Outlook 2002- can't get email

When I click on the Outlook 2002 icon, I get a screen that says Server name
=null, port=3268, user name = null and then asks for a password. If I hit
OK, Outlook program opens. But , I am not able to send any email, only
receive email. I called Earthlink, so all the settings are right. Outlook
express works. Any suggestions as to why I can't recieve email?
