Outlook 2002 - can't select Word as e-mail editor.

J

Joe A

MS Office XP Professional 2002 - After selecting "use Word as my e-mail
editor" on the Outlook main page under Tools/Options/e-mail format, when then
opening a new e-mail the following message is received "This form requires
Word as your e-mail editor, but Word is either busy or cannot be found. The
form will be opened in the Outlook editor instead". Going back to the e-mail
format dialog box, my checked selection was unselected again. My MS Word app
works fine.

You should post your issues to an Outlook newsgroup, Joe. This newsgroup
supports the OneNote program.

I think you may have clicked on the wrong newsgroup. You want one of the
Outlook newsgroups for this question - this group is for OneNote.

Thanks!

Locate the appropriate Outlook newsgroup (there are a ton of them) and then
post your message with the same information you entered here. You seem to
be using the web-based interface, which is difficult at best. If you use a
regular newsreader, like Outlook Express, you can simply use
msnews.microsoft.com as the news server, and then download all the Microsoft
newsgroup listing. You can search the list for "Outlook" for instance, and
then subscribe to any you wish.
