Outlook 2002 - clean install but no folders (contact, inbox etc)?

I am trying to set up a clean install of Outlook 2002 on a Thinkpad that was
previously used with Exchange.

I have uninstalled the previous version and re-booted. Then installed
Office XP, Outlook opens although when a folder is selected, eg, Calender,
Contacts etc all that appears is a message saying:

Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Outlook could not access the
specified folder location. The folder no longer exists.

I have tried un-installing again and re-sinstalling but no joy.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd be most grateful.

Many thanks in advance,

Jon
