Outlook 2002 Conflict

J

John

I get the following warning each time I boot up my system
and open Outlook.
"A recently installed program may cause Microsoft Office
or other e-mail enabled programs to function improperly.
Outlook can resolve this conflict without affecting the
program that originally caused the problem. Do you want
Outlook to resolve this problem?"
When I select "Yes" it says:
"Outlook was unable to resolve the conflict between a
recently installed program and Microsoft Office or other
email enabled progamms. Outlook needs to modify a system
component that another program is currently using. To fix
this problem please restart Windows."
Upon restart I get the same original warning.
Any ideas as to cause and cure?
I run on a P4 1.6mhz and windows xp with office xp. No
new programs have been recently installed.
Thanks in advance!

Try running fixmapi.exe. Find it using Windows search. Alternatively, you
can also run Detect and Repair. One of these methods should fix the
problem.
