outlook 2002 crash when creating new email since XP SP2 upgrade

recently upgraded to XP SP2 and since, outlook 2002 crashes when trying to
place cursor in text area of window. report is sent to Microsoft with no
report on what caused the crash. - help

Hi,
first i would try to use scanpst.exe to repair your pst file.
If you get the same error after run scanpst.exe try to create a new profile
if this not solve your problem, post again.
