Outlook 2002 crashed how do I get my to my inbox in Vista

James A. Lapenta

I had my outlook crash last night. I can search and find my sent messages
but not the ones in my inbox. While not life or death there are some I'd
like to have any ideas? It comes up with a message to use inbow repair tool
but I don't know how to find that. It comes up when I open outlook with the
following :
Unable to display folder. Errors have been detected in the file C:\Users| my
comp name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst. Quit all
mail-enabled applications, and then use the inbox repair tool. Any help
appreciated. Please send replies to (e-mail address removed) Thanks again

The inbox repair tool is also called scanpst.exe. Do a file/folder search for
it, double-click it, and follow the instructions to repair your PST file.
Make sure Outlook is closed when you do this! Repeat the scan until it finds
no further errors. Open Outlook and see if it works then.
