Outlook 2002 Distribution List

I created a distribution list in Outlook 2002 and added a
number of users to the list. After I create a new Email
message and select the distribution list, everything
apprears on the screen correctly (i.e. the distribution
list name appears in the TO: field) When the message is
sent, and a user who was on the distribution list opens
the Email, the TO: field reads the complete list of those
users who are on the distribution list and not the
distribution list name itself.

Is there a way to have Outlook display only the name of
the distribution list and not the contents of it? Thanks.

As far as I know, there is no way to have just the name of
the dist list to appear.
If you don't want everyone in the list to see the other
names on the list, put the dist list in the BCC field.

Create a contact and give it a familiar name of the list. Use your address
for the mail address. Put that address in the TO field and the list in the
BCC field.
