Outlook 2002 ds duplicate copies of emails

When sending an HTML newsletter (to approx. 57
individuals), Outlook seems to hang in SEND process. It
eventually finishes but I sometimes get messages from
recipients that they have received multiple copies of the
same message (sometimes accused of SPAMMING). I need to
get this fixed!!! Any suggestions?
