Outlook 2002 Error Msg

I'm trying to restore my backup to a new computer on which I've installed XP
and my previous version of Outlook 2002 once again. I did a backup of it
previously but when I go to open or import it back into Outlook I get an
error msg that says the it is not compatible with this version of Peronal
Folders information service. Can anyone advise what this means and how to
work around it?

Copy to the HDD (do NOT overwrite any existing pst file), right-click on it
and check the Read-Only attribute is removed, then open it in Outlook.
DO NOT USE THE IMPORT FUNCTION......

I've seen that error only when the PST was created by Outlook 2003 or 2007.
Are you sure that PST was generated by Outlook 2002?

Thanks Brian - as far as I know this is the only version of Outlook that I
have. presumably it is out of my MS Office suite and it's the same thing I
had on the competer before and the same thing I re-loaded onto the new
computer. anyting else you can suggest...?
