Hi,
Outlook 2002 keeps trying to "send" to one of my email accounts on it's own.

I have two email accounts the current one, this email is sent from, and an
old account.
I keep the old one active to pick up the odd email still sent to that
account.

I have set the old account to receive only, but despite that it keeps trying
to do a send (even though nothing is there to send).
Even with scheduled email turned off it tries to send.
(the reason for wanting to stop the send is that it causes errors - it gets
error 0x 800CCC0F - as I don't know what is causing the error and don't need
to send I want to stop sending)

Deleting the account not unsurprisingly stops it trying to send but then I
can't receive from that account.
When I reinstate it off it goes every minute send send send !

So HELP please, how do I find out what is causing this account to send and
make it stop !

It's a POP3/SMTP account.

Outlook 2002 (10.6515.6735) SP3

I would be most grateful for some clues.

Yours frustrated !
