Outlook 2002 - Make mobile # first entry

D

David Mathias

Folks,

I have a problem with the default order of telephone numbers in Outlook
2002. When I synchronize with my PDA or, especially, my cellular phone, it
appears that the first two entries are captured only. In the case of my
phone, that means business phone and business fax. Why would I want to
call a fax number from a mobile phone??? Instead, I need a way to move the
mobile phone field to the first or second displayed entry for any given
contact. Further, I want to do so across the range of all my contacts,
rather than one at a time via the "drop down" boxes.

I imagine this is something you can do with the form design, but I don't
know how you would then apply the form change to all the existing contacts.

Any thoughts?

David

The only thought that I would have is that this has nothing to do with the
Form design and everything to do with activesync. I'd at least pose the
question in that group.
