We are using Outlook 2002 and Exchange 2000.
Problem - User (A) has sent a meeting request to user (B).
User (B) forwards the meeting request to User (C).
- If user (C) accepts the request they are added to the
list of attendees on the original meeting request. They
will receive any future updates to the meeting request.
All is fine.
However,
- If user (C) accepts the forwarded meeting request after
a change has been made by user (A) to the original meeting
request, user (C) will not receive any indication that the
meeting request has been changed. Also, user (A) will not
receive any indication that user (C) has accepted the
original meeting request.
So user (C) attends the original meeting ( that no longer
exists ) and user (A) never knew that user (C)was invited
to the original meeting.
Is this a known problem? Is a fix in the works?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Derek
