Outlook 2002- messages to imap sent folder

I can't seem to be able to save sent messeages to my imap
account's "sent Items" folder. I setup a rule using the
rule wizard, it allows me to select the imap sent folder
but nothing gets copied there. It only goes to the local
sent folder. Running on Win2000 sp4.

Any ideas
