I tried Roady's suggestion of:
browse for C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Protect
Make a backup of this folder while all other programs are closed and then
delete that folder. See if your passwords are remembered now. ...... but
this did not work.
I also tried to go to regedit, but it would not allow any changes to the
permissions of the key indicated in the file
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290684 ,... another
suggestion that did not work., as i got a message in step 8 when trying to
click yes twice. No changes to that key were allowed.
can anyone else help ?? this is an outrage that no one can solve this
problem.
