Outlook 2002 Password Problem

We are having a problem when loading Outlook 2002 each
time.

Although we have stored the password, Outlook 2002 asks
for the password after clicking on Send/Receive. After
we have re-entered the password and clicked on the option
to save the password (AGAIN!), we will not be asked again
until we exit Outlook and reload.

We have downloadeded and installed all of the service
packs to no avail. We have only one pop e-mail account
on this particular machine.

Anyone have suggestions? PLEASE?
