Outlook 2002 Rules don't work

So, I moved my wife to another computer and everything seemed to work except
for her Outlook rules.

They don't run. And, when I open the rules wizard and click on a rule the
rule details are blank and the delete and edit buttons are disabled.

How can I fix the rules or delete them?

Remember, I'm running Outlook 2002, so I don't have the 2003 command line
options.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you repoint the rules to the folders? The rules use the full path to the
pst and moving the pst will break the rules unless the user acct acct and
path is identical.

No, the new machine has a different path to the outlook.pst file.

I would be happy if I could just delete all the (hundreds of) rules and
start over. But, currently, I don't know how to even delete them... the
delete button is grayed out! BTW, even new rules that I make don't work at
all. Is there any way to reset the whole system, but keep all the emails she
has in her folders?

I would be happy if I could just delete all the (hundreds of) rules and
start over.

Start Outlook once with the /cleanrules command switch. Click Start>Run and
enter

outlook.exe /cleanrules

in the Open field. Click Go. Be sure to include the space before the
slash.

You can't select each rule (or shift+select multiple rules) and hit delete?
If not, you'll need outlookspy or the mapi editor to delete them from the
pst.

Thanks. Selecting each rule and pressing the delete key worked.

I didn't think to try this as the Delete button on the screen was grayed
out. But, pressing the delete key on the keyboard worked like a charm. Once
all of the rules were deleted, I started adding new rules... and they worked!

So, this problem is solved. Thanks to everyone for your help.
