I use Outlook 2002 on an eMachine T6520 AMD 2.39 GHz with 1K RAM Windows XP
machine, generally for sending only (I receive and store emails on a
different machine.) While I don’t often need to send I have not had a
problem until just the other day. Now when I click send the message appears
to process but then Outlook freezes. The only way out is to End Task.
Ironically I can send test messages when looking at the account information
but cannot send normally.
I have two authorized copies of 2002 Outlook and have uninstalled and
reinstalled both with the same result. I did upgrade to service pack 3 on
one of them but that didn’t help either. I use Zone Alarm but have turned
that off but still no luck.
Any ideas/suggestions?
