I
Ian Roberts
I am stuck on a problem with Outlook using the wrong "sender"
information when sending out mails. My partner and I use Outlook 2002
on Win XP. We use one profile for all our email and have it configured
to download from 3 different POP3 accounts:
Ian and Susan (default) - our shared account
Ian - my personal account
Susan - her personal account
As expected, when sending messages we can choose the appropriate
account to use and the mail does indeed go out via the selected
account.... but no matter which account we select, Outlook addresses
the message as if it is from our default account. For example someone
sends a mail to Susan, she replies via her personal account, but when
the mail is sent it appears to be from "Ian and Susan" and gives our
shared email address.
We have checked details for each account and they seem to be
personalised correctly, so where is Outlook picking up the shared
email address from? How can we get Outlook to use the correct sender
details for each account?
Thanks for any help
