I can read email just fine in the preview windows, but when I hit reply or
forward, or try simply to open an email it takes about 30 - 50 seconds to
respond. It started in outlook 2000 about two weeks ago. I lost my internet
connection due to a cut cable in the middle of email ops, computer crashed.
At first restart outlook would not work at all. 50% cpu was consumed, but no
startup. I had to remove and reinstall outlook several times to get past
that. But, email function as described above has been slow since. Took
office off completely. Reinstalled. No help. Repaired. No help. Put
Outlook 2002 on, no help. Took it off and reinstalled outlook 2000 again. No
help. Put 2002 back on. No help and I just left it on. Office updates are
all current and I turned off instant messaging per Q290025 and Meeting
planner options in Q324374. Archeived all old task and email files. No
help.
Any other suggestions?
