I am running Outlook 2002 SP3 at home under Win2K SP4 using a normal
dialup connection. Even if the dialup is already connected, Outlook
is VERY slow to start up. It sometimes takes a full 90 seconds for
the hour glass to go away before I can do anything. The program
itself loads right away but I'm basically locked out until it
finishes with whatever it's doing. It LOOKS like it's trying to
access the 'net but I have all my accounts set to not do anything
automatically.
I am starting OL in the Inbox and not Outlook Today. I have no web
content being displayed. Preview is disabled in my Inbox.
Any ideas why the prog is taking so long to let me do anything? No
virii, no weird macros. HELP!!! There's nothing in the KB about this
that I can find.
