Outlook 2002 (SP3) cannot send email with SBC DSL address

I never had a problem sending email with my dial up ISP but with my new SBC
DSL account I cannot send - keep getting an error. The account has been set
up and re-set up a dozen times. I receive just fine. I can send from web mail
and I can send from Outlook Express. So far SBC has been of no help after
spending hours on the phone. Has anyone had this problem or is there an issue
associated with Outlook 2002?

what does the error say? (you can copy the text from the send/receive
dialog - click on it and press ctrl+c, then paste in a reply)

is unable to connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue
to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet
service provider (ISP).'

what does the error say? (you can copy the text from the send/receive
dialog - click on it and press ctrl+c, then paste in a reply)

What server names and ports are you using for the account?

outgoing: smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com (SMTP authentication required) - box is
checked in settings and use same settings as incoming server is checked
outgoing mailport #25

Thanks! I figured it out with the WEB pages you sent. it was simple. My
default was set to my dial up account (which I have not cancelled yet). It
sent from the old default if I dialed up and sends just fine with the default
set to my DSL account.

Thanks! I figured it out. It was simple. My default was set to my dial up
