I have a problem with meeting requests in Outlook 2002
(SP2)on an IBM Thinkpad running WINXP SP1. When a
meeting request arrives in the inbox, the calendar books
the time a tentative (expected). However, my problem is
that when the meeting request is declined the request
time still stays booked in the calendar as tentative.
Only if I open the tentatively booked calendar
appointment by double clicking on it inside the calendar
(won't work from inbox) can i decline it and remove it
from the calendar.
Outlook 2002 was re-installed and has had sp1 and sp2
applied - no change. Will be checking the app log on
monday morning for more clues. Considering the idea that
a delegate has the "automatically accept meeting
requests" enabled for this inbox - tracking down all
delegates on monday as well.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Sean
