Outlook 2002 to Outlook 97

Are these 2 versions able to invite each other to meetings?

I can't get them to talk to each other to invite for
meetings.

Suggestions?

Use Outlook Rich Text Format and ensure you have meeting reminders turned
off if using Outlook 2000 in the mix.
