So, I just like to have folks get the correct information and not some variation that is not true. As for Microsoft fixing it, Outlook 2002 is out of mainstream support and will only get security fixes in extended support.

|
|| Correction - the registry entries for the passwords Outlook 2002 uses
|| do exist under Vista in the same fashion that they do under XP. They
|| just don't work.
||
|| In any case, what does it matter EXACTLY how Outlook 2002 doesn't
|| remember its passwords seeing Microsoft wont be fixing it?
||
||| "Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]"
||| ||| Correction, Windows will not store Outlook 2002 passwords. The
||| registry setting that Outlook 2002 needs cannot be set in Windows
||| Vista.

||| Thanks but that isn't any help. It confirms what I said - that
||| Outlook 2002 doesn't store passwords.
