outlook 2002 with activesync gives error 800c8002

outlook 2002 activesynced with my windows mobile 2003 2nd. edition leaves
unresolved files. when resolving the popup says error 800c8002 and the items
don't sync. sometimes the garmin ique m4 doesn't even connect, it just
states it was synced at an earlier time
