Hi all

Just uninstalled office 2003 beta refresh 2 and reinstalled office 2002. Outlook does not start and says that I am missing mapir.dll and mapir32.dll. I can not find those files on my system anywhere. I uninstalled and reinstalled a few times without fixing the problem. Does anyone know how to get this fixed?

Close Outlook. Find and delete the MAPI folder and then reinstall Outlook
2002.

If you are running Windows 2000 or XP, you need to enable searching hidden
and system folders.

I have already done that and the search finds no Mapi files or directories
anywhere. I can't even get outlook up enough to do a detect and repair on
it.

Fixed it by creating the mapi folder :)
