outlook 2003 able to print plain text messages, not HTML messages

I am running Outlook 2003 in XP Pro system. I have dedicated printer to PC
and also network printer. I can print plain text e-mail messages but cannot
print html messages. When I try to print HTML e-mails I get no printer
activity, no printer set up box to ID dedicated printer or network printer.
I get a VERY quick flash of a printer screen, but is so quick I can't even
read it.
