Outlook 2003, Accepted calendar scheduling stuck in Outbox

L

Lars Edlo

Pse someone give me a hand here! I have accepted a meeting scheduled in
Outlook for my calendar. Some way or another the acceptance has got stuck in
the Outbox. I can't reopen it, it won't send away. Each time I try to move it
to the trash bin, delete it or move it elsewhere I get the message "The
object cannot be opened. Transmission of the message has already been
started".

The problem is that since Outlook wants to send all messages
first-in-first-out, this acceptance is blocking all other mails that I want
to send.
Any advice anyone?

Mark Outlook to work offline - completely close Outlook. Reopen Outlook and delete the calendar item from your outbox. Mark Outlook to work online (uncheck Work Offline) completely close and reopen Outlook and you should be fine.
