Outlook 2003 account problems.

EJL

There are 2 active accounts in this Outlook 2003 setup.

1. Connects to an internal Exchange 5.5 server - this server does not have
internet access and is only used for internal email between employees (set
as Default account in Outlook)
2. Internet email account hosted by an outside vendor.

Here's the problem. When you create a new message and use a combination of
email address that points to an internet email (Ex. (e-mail address removed)) and
addresses from the global address list ([email protected]), then select to
use the internal Exchange account to send it, everything works fine. But if
the Internet account was used to send it, the internal Exchange addresses
return undeliverable.

We have instructed our users to always use the Exchange account to send
emails, but some of them still forgets. We have determined that if the
Exchange account is set to as the Default account everytime they create a
new message it automatically sends it with the Exchange account which works
great. If a user receives an email from the outside (Internet account) and
clicks Reply, Outlook automatically uses the Internet account to send the
reply.

Is there a way to force Outlook to ALWAYS use the Exchange account?
regardless of even it is a reply to an outside Internet email.

Any direction to fix this would be greatly appreciated, THANKS.

Didn't you look at the list of groups to which the OP posted? That
newsgroup was included.
