Outlook 2003 (PST file, POP3 only - not Exchange client) crashes
periodically, but only when my PDA (Dell Axim x51v) is connected.
I have been using the PDA for over a year without this problem, which began
perhaps six weeks ago. It seems to be sporadic, and I cannot tell what
triggers it - a calendar reminder popping up, a sync when I have note open,
etc. I can open a note, change something, leave the note open, and sync
without crashing, though.
I have already set the PDA back to factory defaults, unintalled ActiveSync
4.1, installed ActiveSync 4.2. Everything synchronizes just fine when it
works. The Application Log shows this (not much help):
Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.8010.0, stamp 43d16d53,
faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, stamp 00000000, debug? 0, fault
address 0xe877d4b3.
