Say, I'm trying to use the new VSTO 2005 to write an outlook add-in for
outlook 2003. Anyway, any ideas on how I put a button on the navigation
favorites on bottom left (you know where the Mail, Calendar, Tasks buttons
are). Any ideas would be appreciated.

The Navigation pane isn't customizable. It's designed using XML, you can
view it as <Outlook profile name>.xml but even things that should be
customizable such as folder favorites only work intermittently when you
create your own XML. I know, I've tried it :)

Besides, Outlook reads the XML on startup, caches it and any changes and
overwrites anything you do when it shuts down and writes the XML back out
again.
