Outlook 2003--All Day Events don't show up in 1 day view

I noticed that some All Day events don't show up at all
in 1 Day view if the window is maximized. If you restore
the window, the subject of the meeting magically
reappears.
This is very annoying, since as a result I miss important
things.

Any suggestions?
