Outlook 2003 and contacts

Glenn

I posted this the first time in the wrong newsgroup
I have office 2003 Pro, I have had and already have over
100 entries in my contact list, up until the upgrade to
2003, I was able to forward emails to addresses listed in
my contacts list.
Now I get nothing, just a big blank page that shows no
names, I do have 2 pst files that are being displayed on
outlook, but can only see one contact list listed under
the opitons menu, as well as it does not tell you WHERE or
WHICH contact list you are using, properties only says
personal folders and contacts, no locations.
I have had this problem in outlook 2000 and XP and was
alwaya able to go to the options and select the correct
list. Not this time, I am not on any mail server, and I
use pop3 only with this account.
Anyone have any Ideas??

Why do you have 2 PST's?
How did you install Outlook 2003 and migrate your Outlook data?

One is a bizz pst the other only personal info. Have had
them since office 98 and outlook 98. They have been
converted and repaired in all versions but the new 2003,
haven't had to repair them yet.
As far as migrate, let it select the default which I
believe is 97/2000 or something like that.

So you just did an in place upgrade of an Outlook Profile that had 2
separate PST's but did nothing to configure Outlook to recognize or use
these PST's?
Have you reset your Outlook Address Book?
Go to Tools | E-mail accounts, select "View or change existing directories
or address books", and click OK. If you don't see the OAB in the Directories
and Address Books list, click the Back button, then select "Add a new
directory or address book", then "Additional Address Books", and add the
OAB. Then keep clicking Back until you get back to the first dialog box,
and go back to the Directories and Address Books list as you did earlier.
Once the OAB appears in the list, select it and then click Change to make
sure the Contacts folder(s) you want to display are listed. If any of them
aren't listed, you'll need to enable those Contacts folders as Outlook
Address Books by right clicking the folder, selecting Properties, clicking
the Outlook Address Book tab, and checking the "Show this folder as an
E-mail address book" box. Make sure you restart Outlook after making these
changes.
