Outlook 2003 and IMAP and Passwords

I am using Outlook 2003 with a single IMAP mail account.
My office requires that my password be entered every time
I open Outlook.

Upon opening Outlook, I am prompted for my password twice
(ie. I have two dialog boxes requesting my password) If I
enter the password on the first one and cancel the second,
I am able to access my messages.

This behavior just started about two weeks ago. Does
anyone have any suggestions, workarounds or fixes?
