Outlook 2003 and incorrect info in from field

my outlook email has started placing my name in the from field when i receive
messages only addressed to me. when i receive messages that have multiple
recipients, the senders name is listed in the from field - as it should. why
is this happening, and more importantly how can i fix it?

Where are you looking at the From field?
-In the Inbox overview (column)
-In the Reading Pane?
-When you double click to open the message?

Is all the info the same at all 3 places?
