Hi,
I'm using the lotus notes connector with outlook 2003 and it works fine
(except some attchment problems...) and recently I tried to open mailbox of
other notes users whom database I can access.
I open the folder of another user, browse the notes directory, find my user,
select "inbox" and it opens. There is a header synchronisation (belive me,
click on the little toolbar of the notes connect and only retrieve header,
it will save your life and diskspace...) and it works fine.
Now, how do I add this nice looking, working folder in MY favorites, or in
MY shortcut, something like when I open the calendar of this person, I have
a new entry in the navigation pane with the name of the person and his/her
calendar directly accessible.
Is there a way to shortcut the tedious "File" "Open" "Folder..." and select
the name of the person, the folder I want?
In lotus I do "Open" "Database" I select the database and I have access to
everything the Acl authorize me to do, I don't have to know if the data I
need is in "inbox", "sent items", "to do" or "calendar" : everything is
directly accessible.
The fact that outlook and exchange work more with the concept of folders
rather than database is understandable, OK. But why can't I drag and drop
this folder in the shortcut pane??? when I try to create a shortcut, there
is only my database and the archive.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks in advance
Christophe
