We recently upgraded from Exchange 2003 to 2007 and upgraded the server at
the same time - changing the name from EX2003 to EX2007.
We are now encountering is that for some reason devices with Outlook 2003
that have been working are randomly...not now. We have to go in to their
email profile and change the server name.
We're also having the same issue with new users on a device trying to go
into Outlook, by default its trying to point to ex2003.
We had thought that our Outlook installation setup was configured to pull
the server info from our AD environment, but now it turns out that a PRF file
was used which specified the server name.
The question is - how do we push out an update that will tell our installed
base of outlook files to get the server info from our AD environment and how
do I update our installation package?
Any info will be appreciated.
