Outlook 2003 and Newsgroups...

Hello all,
Can someone please tell me how to access newsgroups via Outlook 2003? I
did have a button on my toolbar (followed the instructions in help) but for
some reason it is now missing. Does anyone know how to get it back?

OL uses the Outlook Express newsreader, accessing via OL merely opens OE
newsreader. It can also be accessed via IE or create a desktop shortcut ie
"%ProgramFiles%\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /outnews

In Outlook 2003 you open Outlook Express as a newsreader the same as before
by selecting Go and then News. However, in Outlook 2003, News is not on the
default list of Go commands. To add News to your list of Go commands:

Right Click on an empty part of the Toolbar and select Customize.
Select the Command tab.
Click on Rearrange Commands. At the top ensure you have Menu selected.
Click the Down Arrow and select Go. Then click on Add.
In the list on left select Go. In the list on right select News. The Ok.

If you choose you may create a new Toolbar and place News on the new
Toolbar. You can then place the Toolbar any place in the Outlook window
that you prefer. I placed mine at the right end of the Outlook Toolbar.

To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel
|Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch
it, click the "Don't ask me again" box and then click the No button.
