Outlook 2003 and older Word

Chris

My company just implemented a new Exchange server, which included an upgrade
for everyone to Outlook 2003 (if they didn't have it already).

Here's my question: Is it possible to use Word as the email editor when it's
an older version than Outlook?

It seems to me like Outlook 2003 is looking specifically for Word 2003. But
since only Word 2000 or Word 2002 are installed, Outlook 2003 isn't "finding"
Word.

Is there a way around this? To force Outlook to use whatever version of
Word is installed? Or is the majority of my office s.o.l. in this regard?

Thanks in advance....

Hi Chris,
Is it possible to use Word as the email editor when it's
an older version than Outlook?

Definitly: No
There is no way to use Outlook with an older or newer version as email
editor. It is "must", to have the same version.
