Outlook 2003 and Saving Outlook Today Settings

I cannot get Outlook 2003 to "save" the new setting under Customizing Outlook Today. Although when I click the "save changes" button the change takes place, however once I change folders and go back to the Personal Folder, Outlook Today is set back to the standard view and does not hold the custom settings

Also, when I click "Customize Outlook Today ... " button the Styles preview does not display

Any suggestions

Running WinXP Pr
