Hi all,
Having suffered the problem nay people are experiencing with the 0x8004210a
error message when trying to receive mail. I now have A solution.
I only got this since recently installing Symantec NIS 2005. This was an
upgrade from NIS 2004. I had no problems with this installed. After
lookingaround the various sources of information (none of which really have
an answer to this yet!) I saw someone mention that the problem was not with
Outlook (or OE) but with Symantec NIS Anti_ Spam. As soon as I truned this
off the emails flooded into my inbox even with no reload of the program.
Try it. It may work for you. I can live without this product as my ISP uses
Brightmail on its email server which made a huge difference.
