Outlook 2003 - Applying Label Colors

When I apply a Label with a color to a calender entry, the entry stays white. It does not apply the color. Can anyone provide me feedback as to what the problem might be

I'm having the same prob. Won't allow me to label with colors. Imported my calendar.pst file from OL 2002 and OL 2003 changed them all to white background. In any case, OL 2003 will not allow me to add color labels to any event. Any ideas
