Outlook 2003 Archive Folders

I have an end user who gets the following error when trying to archive to a
*.pst file.

Error while archiving folder "deleted items" in store "Mailbox - End User".
The file archive.pst has reached its maximum size. To reduce the amuont of
data in this file, select some items that you no longer need and permanently
delete them. Consider using the new Outlook Personal Folders file (.pst)
introduced with Outlook 2003 that provides greater capacity for storing items
and folders.

Specifically, how do I set up the 2003 *.pst and how do I transfer the data?

Create a new .PST file and choose the new format (Unicode) for it, instead
of the Outlook 97 - 2002 format (ANSI). Open the new .PST file using
'File|Open|Outlook Data File', drag and drop the contents of the old .PST
file into it, then close the old .PST file.

Hal is correct, but I don't think he went far enough. After creating the
new PST, you'll need to configure AutoArchive to use that PST.
Tools>Options>Other>AutoArchive. If I were in your shoes, I'd close Outlook
and simply rename the existing archive PST and let Outlook create a new one
the next time AutoArchive runs. I haven't tried it, but I suspect it will
be created as a Unicode (i.e., Outlook 2003-native) PST.
