L
lost at sea
I am running Outlook 2003 under Windows XP Pro SP2. Sixteen months ago I
imported my old E-mails from another machine with Windows 2000 Outlook
Express. It appears as though these items all have the value "none" in the
Modified field. Any attempt to archive or autoarchive these records fails.
If I go into a folder and edit the items to set a flag, then the Modified
field assumes the current date. I can then archive the next day by selecting
1 day on that folder.
Is this a bug in Outlook? Is this the way it is supposed to work?
Does anyone know an easier way to do this? Once I have changed the Modified
date to current, I lose the ability to retain more recent messages.
Thanks.
