outlook 2003 (w office 2003 SP3). I have set the properties on several
outlook folder to "Do not Archive items in this folder".
Outlook itself has the "Auto archive" feature turned OFF (in the "options"
settings)
My process:
I am manually using the Archive feature. (File, Archive).
In the Archive window I select: "Archive this folder and all sub folders",
I select an "Archive items older than:" date,
I CLEAR the "Include items with 'Do not Auto archive' checked" check box.
I select an archive file.
I then click "OK" to begin the process.
The process runs, but archives folders, even those that have the "Do not
archive items in this folder" folder property set.
Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
