Outlook 2003 - Associating a custom journal form

F

I have a custom Journal form originally created in Outook 2000. I am trying
to use this form in Outlook 2003 by associating it with the Outlook Journal
folder. This is done by going to journal properties, form tab, to management
button.

When I attempt to install the form from its template folder, I get the
following warning message:

"The form could not be installed. The key ‘displayname’ is either missing
or has an incorrect value. [File C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application
Data\Microsoft\Templates\ActivityLog.cfg, Section Description]"

The end result is that when opening a new form, it is always the default
version, not my custom version.

I appreciate your thoughts on this.

Are you trying to use a .cfg or .fdm file to install the form? Do you have a
copy of it saved as an .oft file?
