Outlook 2003 attempts to install FrontPage 2000

Greetings all:

I'm running a WinXP Pro machine with Office Professional Edition 2003
and FrontPage 2000 installed separately. When I attempt to open HTML
messages in Outlook 2003, a Windows Installer box appears for FrontPage
200, which then prompts me to insert the FrontPage disc. I've tried to
resolve this in different ways:

--by changing the HTML editor in IE
--by performing a "Detect and repair" on Office 2003
--by performing a "Detect and repair" on Frontpage 2000
--by inserting the FrontPage disc when prompted

None of the first three methods has worked. Inserting the disc works,
but I continue to be plagued with the Windows Installer each time I
attempt to open an HTML message and would prefer not to have the
Frontpage disc taking up a drive all the time. It should be noted that
once I cancel the Installer window several times, I can view the
message, but I'd prefer to not have to waste the time to canceling
three or four times in the first place. Any suggestions, short of
upgrading of FrontPage 2003?

Thanks,

-M

Does the same thing happens for other users who log on to that machine?

Note that when you test it for a clean user the first time that you start an
Office 2003 application or FP2000 the installer will pop up to configure
those applications for first use for that user.

Thanks for the prompt response, Roady.

The same thing occurs for every user, despite having configured Office
and FrontPage for each one.
