Outlook 2003 auto calculation

Jeff Muñiz

Last week I was busy converting from OE to OL and I saw a feature I really
liked, but wonder if I'm not fully utilizing it.

When I entered a contacts information such as their birthday and anniversary
it automatically created a calendar entry for it. What I want to know is
1)without editing each entry how do I tell it to let me know about the event
several days in advance so I have time to get a card or something, and 2)how
do I have it tell how many years are involved i.e...if the persons birthday
was in 1980 it would tell me they are coming up on their 24th birthday for
2004 or same for an anniversary.

Is there a utility that I can install to do this or something.

Sorry for the large crosspost, however when I check some of these groups
they don't seem very active and I wanted a larger exposure.

Thanks

Diane,
Thanks for the suggestion, however it's not quite what I'm looking for.
The autocalculate the time is what I'm really looking for, more than the
putting it in the calendar.

you'll need to create individual entries to include the age on the subject
(use excel to automate the process and import) - there is a custom form you
can use to display the age in an opened form -

Ok I'm getting closer. That works for the individuals birthday, now I just
need the same for Anniversaries and spouse/children birthdays. How do i get
it to apply that format to all of my contacts?

you can apply new forms to existing items using a forms changer to change
the message class - i like
