Outlook 2003 auto redirect

Branfred

I'm trying to set up Outlook so that it will automatically redirect
any incoming e-mails to a different e-mail address. Both e-mails will
be set up on the same outlook account. Right now I can get it to
forward, but there are no rules that will allow me to just redirect
it.

Also, it won't forward the mail automatically if my outlook is closed
or on a different e-mail account. Is there any way for me to do this?

Thanks for your help.

Have the forward set up at the ISP rather than in Outlook. In fact, if both
accounts are on the same ISP, I'd ask if there was a way just to set up the
second smtp address as an alias to the first so none of this
forwarding/redirecting needs to be done. If it's a different ISP, you can't
do that, but you still need to do the redirect at the ISP level, if you
don't want Outlook running.

1. outlook doesn't redirect -but forward as attachment will give you the
ability to reply to the original sender
2. outlook (any mail client actually) can't forward if its not open - you
need to set something up on your email server if you need it to happen when
outlook is closed.
